Sara and Lorraine

Sara Lynn Evans was born on February 5, 1971. She grew up on a farm in New Franklin Missouri as the largest of seven girls. She has always loved music and started singing with her family when she was the age of five. When she was sixteen she started performing in the nightclub in Columbia Missouri a gig that ran for two years. Then she moved into Nashville Tennessee in 1991 with the intention to become a country singer. Sara was able to sing a song demo of Tiger By the Tail, one of Harlan's tracks at County Q Studios. Harlan Howard decided that Sara could perform his songs. The singer signed a deal with RCA. Evans came out with Three Chords and the Truth in 1997. Critics praised the album for the return to country music and ranked it in many of their top 10 of the year lists. Born in New York she grew up on Long Island and later moved to France to pursue an acting career and began her career as a model. She later ventured into other fields like becoming the radio jockey for Radio Luxembourg. In the late 1970s she began her film career as well as appearing in a couple of other French feature films as well. The actress returned to Hollywood a few years later for an Hollywood career. She achieved her biggest Hollywood movie success in Goodfellas with the film for which she was awarded numerous notable awards, among them an Academy Award nomination.
