Arike Ogunbowale
Arike ogunbowale (born on April 2, 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, after which she was drafted by the Wings as the 5th overall pick of the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale was born on the 2nd March, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale as well as Dare Ogunbowale are both 20-years old. Ogunbowale was crowned gold at the 2013 U16 FIBA Americas Championships, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships, and the 2013 3x3 FIBA U18 Championships. On 7 July 2014, Ogunbowale was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale is also a part of the ACC All-Freshman Team, after her debut season at a college. Ogunbowale was also congratulated by the Kobe Bryant after she hit numerous big shots during the NCCA Tournament. Even though she is still just a rookie, Ogunbowale has made herself a top basketball star and is sure to keep her track.
